Gated Heart Stamp

I finally jumped in and tried my hand out on stamp making. The process is easy but haven't quite gotten the hang of consistency between exposures yet.
With my new adventure in mind, I have created some original stamps that I'm going to have professionally manufactured. My first piece is called Gated Heart.  After creating my home crafted prototyped, my twin girls ran with the idea and created some samples posted below. I think they did a fabulous job.

eri•doodle Gated Heart specs:
LARGE Size: 4.25" X 4"
Type: It will be a cling. Will post more later.
Can be used with Sizzix Die 38-0801 Heart #2 to cut out center heart as in samples.
Cost: Taking wishes right now to get an idea of how many to have made and cost. Trying to keep it affordable. Email my if you are interested (no obligation). Will post a price and notify all who send me an email as soon as I have an idea on cost. Click on my email link on right side of my blog.

UPDATE: So far the cost would be way up there, more than I want to charge. If anyone can do this for a reasonable cost. Email me.

My True Love - bird tag

It was time to dig into my dies and see what I could make.

This cute little bird wasn't one of my "must buy" choices, but I am glad I did get it. A little bit of scrapbooking chalk really brought this little guy to life. Even if sparrows are not really blue, this seemed to work. - Sizzix Red Die 655166 Bird, Sparrow. You can't see it in the photo, but the bird is raised with pop dots.

The leaves, Sizzix Bigz Die 656212 Branch with leaves,  I choose to use my new Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber, Espresso and Making Memories Avocado for the leaves. Watered down both for leaf shadows and berries.

Sizzix Tim Holtz Tag & ties by. Cut twice. Once on cardboard and the other on cardstock Fancy Pants, English Rose. Loved this paper, but roses were a little too pink so I toned them down by edging the tag with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Vintage Photo.

The Letter with hart was from Provo Craft, Disney, Love Always. Used cardboard, Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber White, hit raised embossed area with more Vintage Photo ink. Used a red sharpie to color in heart.

Tab was from Quickkutz, Tabs. After adding some Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Barn Door and Frayed Burlap, I added words using Making Memories magnetic stamps, Express It and Rummage with some white and black ink I had.

The red heart was cut from scrap red paper using a portion of Sizzix 656187 Original Flourish.

After assembling, I added three darker blue flower from Michaels bins and a 12" ribbon, I darkened with the Vintage Photo ink. Satin ribbon is from RibbonFX item 555482. Believe it came from Walmart.

Watch this blog for more projects, as I go through my supplies to rediscover.
