Sailing Quick Page

I'm Sailing Away...

setting an open course for cuteness. Revisiting my old post, I realized some were in need of a life preserver. So I set forth creating examples of my designs and posting suitable products. It has become a major undertaking, but I am determined to work through them all. Hopefully you'll find it worth going back through some old posts.

This is an example of a digi paper rework. It came out so well I decided to repost it and delete the old. New baby blue works perfectly with the sailboat I have here.

More blue paper

I went round and round with myself on what to post today. Guess I worked a little too hard and can't seem to get the creative juices flowing. It's been a while since I have posted any paper, so here are a couple of eri-doodle digital scrapbooking paper freebies. Top is a type of blue diamonds and paper on the bottom is swirls or flourishes but reminds me of water. Yours for the taking if you right mouse click and save image as. They are both 12 X 12

The harlequin is one of my favorite patterns, so there was no question that I would grunge it up. Harlequin Grunge Papers in two different diamond sizes are a free eri*doodle design download. So right mouse click and save image as on each. Yes, there are large enough for 12X12. Yay!

blue papers a must have

I love paper. Yes, I have a scrapbooking paper problem. Sometimes I find it difficult to cut into those wonderful sheets even though it will be transformed into something much better displayed than in my paper bin. This doesn't seem to be a problem with purchased embellishments, just paper.

Technology is wonderful. Now with printers and my Adobe products I can create all the paper I want. Here are two eri*doodle blue paper FREEBIES. One is a rough scalloped blue and the other is blue and white polka dot. These coordinate great with the baby boy rocket ship and sailboat from the last two blogs. Right mouse click and save image as to download. You are welcome to add my blog link to share the freebies with others, but please do not post the image or create links directly to image. Of course you cannot resell the images directly, but you may use them in your own art that is to be sold.

Here are some samples made from these papers and other eri-doodle art available on this site. These pages are also free 12x12 high resolution free downloads by following these links:

Every boy needs a rocket ship

My focus has been so girl oriented, I thought it was time to add in some boy stuff. This little eri*doodle rocket would be so adorable on a baby boy / newborn page, card or craft. You can jazz it up with other colors and make it a big boy rocket. Both images are free to download. One to right is a template if you didn't figure that out. On the left I choose to create X's for a stitched look instead of using the band across it. It can be used for digital scrapbooking.  Don't miss these fun downloads. Right mouse click and save image as to download.

The image here is free, but if you would like the cutter file in SVG, KNK or another format for use with Cricut, Klick-N-Cut or other cutter, it can be purchased for $1.99

You'll go batty in no time

Bats and free Halloween paper

Some time ago I set out to create some original looking bats for my daughter's Halloween page. Other bats out there just didn't hold the feeling I wanted. They were either too scary or too cute or just plain boring. I wanted cute with just a tad of creepy. What I came up with was making them out of recycled film and sanded them a bit to add stress and wear. The words in the wings, somewhat unreadable added the bit of spook I was looking for. Success! I loved them so much, I scanned them in high resolution so I could print and use them some other time.
As I thought about the blog for today, I remembered these little bats. Perfect! I have combined them into a single document and decided to offer the digital file dirt cheap. The largest bat spreads out about 5 inches, but all the bats can be printed much smaller.

For a short time, I am offering these

text bats for .99

File will be emailed to you shortly after payment is made or as soon as I am available to do so.

Also for coming to the eri*doodle blog today. I have a free pumpkin paper download. Yay! This page has a white background with small orange brown jack-o-lanterns. Perfect for paper piecings! Page size is 12"X12"

You are welcome to add my blog link to share the freebies with others, but please do not post the image or create links directly to image. Of course you cannot resell the images (purchased or free) directly, but you may use them in your own art that is to be sold. These are original eri*doodle designs.

A little Halloween Whimsy

Whimsical tree and paper

With Halloween right around the corner I thought a bit of whimsy was in order. I have come up with four freebies for today. I know not everyone uses digital papers, but personally I have been adding them into my collection and printing them to use with paper piecings. Included free for personal use only are Halloween colors in my own personal design. Created just today! Size is 300 dpi 12"X12". Right mouse click on image as save as.

I thought the perfect addition to the papers is this whimsical tree. Imagine hanging pumpkins, or bats on this tree, adding a fence with some trick-or-treaters running about. This tree isn't limited to Halloween, how about a winter wonderland? It was designed to be used large, but can be reduced as small as you dare. Original size is 7" wide X 10.25 tall. Great for 12X12" pages.

Whimsical Tree svg cutter file can also now be purchased from the eri*doodle blog for $4

ON SALE NOW ONLY 1.50

You are welcome to add my blog link to share the freebies with others, but please do not post the image or create links directly to image. Of course you cannot resell the images directly, but you may use them in your own art that is to be sold.

It's all about crowns right now

I have to admit, I have gone crown crazy. I have more crowns than shoes. Digital ones anyways ;)

Haven't quite decided which crown my pantin flower fairy queen should don. I glittered up one from the collage sheet I put together. (above) What do you think? How am I using her, you ask? The photo is a sneak preview of a 12 page paper bag flower fairy scrapbook I will be auctioning off someday.

This is also my first ***FREE*** download for your personal use only. Right mouse click on the Flower Fairy image and save image as. Print and enjoy.

For those of you interested in my paper bag album, I will just say, it is turning into an amazing album with a twist I haven't see done yet. Is the suspense getting to you?

If you are interested in adding to your own crown collection, you can purchase my crown collage on Etsy. http://www.etsy.com/shop/eridoodle
These are large for your bigger products, but can be reduced when you print for your smaller folks. Don't see it listed? Don't worry, someone beat you to it, but I will list more shortly. So check back often.
